Factorio is a game where you build and develop automated factories in an infinite 2D world. You will mine, explore different technologies, build infrastructures and produce objects of increasing complexity. Use your imagination to design your factory, combine simple elements into ingenious inventions, and protect what you have created from all of your enemies.

As you develop the technology, your factory can become an industrial powerhouse with a huge need for resources. But the locals are not going to like the heavy exploitation of the planet's resources, so you will have to be ready to defend yourself and your machine empire.

Combine forces with other multiplayer players, create giant factories, collaborate and split tasks between you and your friends.

Add modifications to enhance the experience, from small changes to complete game changes. Factorio's Modding support allows content developers from around the world to design exciting and innovative new content.

You can also create your own maps and scenarios with the game's Map Editor, placing objects, enemies and terrain exactly as you wish. You can even add your own custom scripts for an even more interesting gaming experience.
